Things I respect about the Koreans and Japanese are their hardworking skills and loyalty to their country. If you didn’t know, both countries have to rebuild their homeland after the war. They may have to leave and seek work to other countries, but they always went back to help rebuild their country. Their economy got better and we saw the tremendous improvement of hard work, loyalty, and sacrifice they have made not only for their own benefit but for their entire nation.
Today, I read the articles on what is happening in Germany and hate crime is also now spreading there because of too many refugees from Africa, East Europe, and Middle East. I understand the concern of most citizen there since not all refugees wanted to work there because of the benefits they actually get from the government. I know this because I once had a friend who was a refugee and told me that like everyone, there are people who are born lazy to work.
So, are these people still or really loyal to their country? My answer to that is simple. If these people from other nation think like the Koreans and Japanese back then, they might not need to leave their own country forever and treated as parasites for being a refugee. If they are truly loyal to their country ,they would go back and help rebuild their nation just like the Koreans and Japanese people. But of course, it is also not up to these people but their government is also involved for their country’s future. I just pray that someday, they learn on how to love and look after their country ,stop the war and killing their own kind. Moreover, not just to think of their own benefit. Remember, corruption is everywhere except it is less visible from other countries that are still rich. Nothing wrong with helping or seeking help as long as the people who seek help and you helped, do the same.

In Filipino cuisine, pancit or pansit are noodles. Noodles were introduced into the Philippines by the Chinese and have since been adopted into local cuisine. The term pancit is derived from the Hokkienpian i sit (Chinese: 便ê食; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: piān-ê-si̍t or Chinese: 便食; pinyin: biàn shí) which literally means “convenient food.” Different kinds of noodles can be found in Filipino supermarkets which can then be cooked at home. Noodle dishes are also standard fare in local restaurants. Food establishments specializing in noodles are often referred to as panciterias.
Nancy Reyes Lumen of the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism writes that according to food lore handed down from the Chinese, noodles should be eaten on one’s birthday. They are commonly served at birthday celebrations and Chinese restaurants in the Philippines often have “birthday noodles” listed on their menus. However, she warns that since “noodles represent long life and good health; they must not be cut short so as not to corrupt the symbolism.”
Our world is constantly changing. We either embrace and accept it or protest to stand up for what we believe others should also believe. No matter what we do or say, we cannot please or force everyone to be on the same boat. It will be a big miracle if we do,then there will be no new discoveries, motivation, competition, or even new knowledge to gain if everyone agree to everything. Life was designed to be colorful, means obstacles, pain, love, and temptations were already been there since the time God created us.

As a mom, wife, and a friend ,I always talk to my son and explain him pretty much everything about genders, sexuality, incest, and religion. Yes, he knows the word vagina, penis, and incest. He knows how baby were made as well! Is this makes me a bad parent? No! It is just how you teach them and explain to them the reality to protect and prepare them. Again,it is how you explain it to them ,but if you are unsure on how to choose the right word to formulate your sentence to their level of understanding without sounding it pervertive, then maybe you should start talking to a counselor first before you attempt explaining things like this to your child. I taught him about God and how we were made but I also explain to him the difference now that was not mentioned in the bible such gender identity. He also understands that God said go and multiply, during the time that the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve have to populate but in the present this is not the case because it will be considered Incest. As long as you are confident to talk to your child between what is right and wrong, real and not, and what is acceptable and what is unacceptable, your child will be more ready ,engaged , respectful, and wiser. This can also help them not to bully or not be bullied. It is important they know their limits and where they should stand. Knowledge is the key for them to succeed and be more responsible. Remember, learning always starts from home and schools are tools or resources where they can expand their knowledge.
What is Adobo?
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Adobo (from Spanish adobar: “marinade,” “sauce” or “seasoning”) is a popular dish and cooking process in Philippine cuisine that involves meat, seafood, or vegetables marinated in vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic, which is browned in oil, and simmered in the marinade. It has sometimes been considered as the unofficial national dish in the Philippines.
If you mention Adobo, majority of Filipino knows how to cook them but every Island and Region have their own way of cooking this very popular dish. Honestly, this dish is not only known to Filipino people but also became very in demand to non Filipino. In our household, my son always ask me to cook it for him. It has been also one of my husband’s fave dish. Here in the States or anywhere abroad, it is hard to find Filipino ingredients, if you are not living in big cities. Since my son love the dish, he even call himself Adobo kid. It really touched me when he embraces my culture. So, I decided to share with you a video which I found on youtube on how to cook this mouthwatering dish.
Over the course of the past several years, a revolutionary new fundraising method has emerged as a viable alternative to traditional lenders: crowdfunding. Originally developed to quickly raising capital for charitable causes and artistic projects, the JOBS Act of 2012 opened the door for equity crowdfunding. Crowdfunding is a global phenomenon, and has attracted funding for a lot of purposes. Crowdfunding is more-likely an Internet-enabled way for businesses, people, or other organizations to raise money in the form of either donations or investments from multiple people. Some notable examples include the aforementioned Fundable, as well as AngelList, OneVest, and GoFundMe.Meanwhile, GoFundMe is the most popular platform used by many. GoFundMe allows people to raise money for events ranging from life events such as celebrations and graduations to challenging circumstances like accidents and illnesses.Damphousse and Ballester created the website under the name “CreateAFund” in 2008 but later changed the name to GoFundMe after making many upgrades to the features of the website.
With traditional banks less willing to lend, most people like entrepreneur started to look elsewhere for capital.Crowdfunding became the ideal solution to fund start-up capital or paying out debts.Even when a great business idea exists it is not a necessary that the donations will pour in automatically. There needs to be a properly prepare campaign to generate and support interest in the project. It is a good idea to spend some time and effort to assess potential interest in the project before officially asking for funds.Trust does not just happen , it is a socially mediated phenomenon which relies in great part on the intrinsic trust people place in shared connections on social networks, community affinities, and the ratings of others on trusted, mainstream websites. Social media such as “Facebook and Twitter ” mostly became the leverage to attract people, family, and friends directing to the crowdfunding site. When it comes to business ,crowdfunding represents a myriad of exciting opportunities for the businesses who that use equity-based platforms, because it allows qualified investors to pool their resources.
Sometimes, people who doesn’t hold any degree makes more sense than those who have! What is the point of being educated if you cannot even educate your own manner. No matter how wide your vocabulary but you don’t know how to be humble and use your manners, it doesn’t prove you are better than those who are unfortunate. Be kind and be respectful, because your degree is just a title but manners actually define the status of a person.
So, I have been seeing so many threads, tweets, and even videos about what is going on our society. One of the hottest topic is ” the freedom to same-sex marriage.” Honestly, I barely go to church and open the bible, but I believe in God! It is not the religion ,it is all about faith in Him. God gave us the freedom to choose and it is up to us which path to take. He is forgiving to those who are true to them self and the only one who can judge. We all have our own opinion about same-sex marriage. Who are we to judge what is right or wrong for two people expressing their love for one another. There are a lot of things that we cannot explain until now ,even science have no explanation and have all the answers. Life here on earth is a mystery. Science think we came from evolution while the bible speaks about Genesis. The bottom line is, we all deserve to be happy and be accepted because at the end of the day, Life is too short to worry about things that got nothing to do with you.
